The Google Search bar is very intrusive. Better to remove it, and have a link to Google.

You can drag it to the end of the single line.

Go into the Tools area, select Options, then in the Privacy section, turn off DNS pre-fetching. Worked well for me.

Unfortunately many people don't properly set up their recovery options until it's too late. Whenever you are using a web based email account (i.e. yahoo, hotmail, gmail, aol mail, or the like) you should use as many of the available recovery options as they allow. Cellphone text messaging, another email account as a backup, secret questions or the like. If you did not do this in the first place then recovering your old email becomes extremly difficult. Since the people who provide your email to you cannot see your password (For security sake) they cannot tell you what it is. And if you don;t have any way of proving to them that it was you who created the email in the first place. (You don;t remember any of the login details or ownership details, they will not reset your password for you.)If you really need to get back into your account try to "hack" your own account by trying all the passwords you regularly use (I know people aren't suppose to use the same password for multiple sites but how many people actually use a different password for every site, email account, login they use on the internet) If that does not work then your pretty much SOL. Sorry about that but that is how it is,

If it is a phone if you don't have the previous account you mite need to order a Google remover sim card to remove the previous owners email otherwise you are Sol with what ever you are trying to reset..
