The fix for this problem turned out to be nothing more than performing a master reset of the printer. To do this you need to push the "OK", "Cancel", "Black", and "Color" button while turning off the power. This reset sequence seems to be the same for all of the HP All-in-one Printers.

Once this was done I also updated the firmware/software. I am now able to print and copy.

You can replace the print heads in the printer itself.
I know that you can order them from HP's website, or eBay for that matter.

They are running around $120 on eBay, so they are most likely a lot more on HP's site.
Unless you paid an arm and a leg for this printer or if it has sentimental value, it's time to replace it.

  1. Press the On button to turn the printer off.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  3. Remove all the ink cartridges.
  4. Wait two minutes.
  5. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
  6. Press the On button to turn the printer on.
  7. Install the ink cartridges when prompted.
If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved. If the 0xc18xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, service the printer.

I would try looking at the settings, on your ipad or laptop that tell your wireless printer what to do, maybe something has been changed accidentally, and needs to be reset. Also if your broadband configuration has been altered this can cause problems. If you have a laptop try connecting by cable to the printer and then see if it prints OK! if if does it is the broadband as said, and will need to be reinstalled. Good luck.

Here is a solution for paper jam issues in your HP printer. There are eight solutions to solve this problem.
    ·Turn the printer off and then on again.
    ·Clear the jam from the rear of the printer.
    ·Clear the paper jam from the paper trays.
    ·Remove the paper jam from the carriage path.
    ·Clean the rollers.
    ·Clear the paper jam from the automatic document feeder.
    ·Perform a power reset.
    ·Service the printer.
