I am thinking when they replaced your airbag light the other circuit connections could have been impacted. The Rios have issues with solder connections on the circuit board. This is made worse is high humidity areas. Try unplugging the battery and reconnecting after several minutes to see if the hard reset fixes temporarily.

the coils at the plugs are the only ones, no other ignition coil. have you checked the system for trouble codes? if not get a cheap code reader and read the codes, then post them back here.

The power locks on my 2015 Kia Sorento won't lock. I can hear a clicking sound while driving, as though it is trying to lock but is not doing anything at all. What are the power locks linked to?
Also all of my steering wheel controls stopped working ... Fuse issue or something bigger than that?

Could be control arm bushings
Sway bar links
Wheel bearing
Ball joints
Rack and pinion
Lift car and shake the tire from side to side, then top to bottom. Any play or wobble means parts are worn and need to be replaced

check the solenoid that pulls in the starter dog to the
ring gear on the flywheel as this also makes contact
for electric current to the starter motor

First I never had a Kia. But when I have bleed brakes I start at RR then LR next RF and lastly Left Front brake. Just do one at a time make sure you keep a eye on the master cylinder that it never looses oil. If it stops draining you can try tightening the bleeder plug you have loose and pump the brake and loosen the bleeder plug again. You can buy a brake bleeder manual pump at auto parts store but you still make sure the master cylinder never looses oil. If it looses oil you have a lot of bleeding to get the air out. (I have taken a hose suitable for brake fluid and put on the bleeder valve fitting and in jar which has brake fluid in it. Loose the bleeder valve fitting and pump the brakes slowly till no bubbles come out the hose. RR, LR, RF and LF. Takes Two People) I am assuming Kia have a bleeder valve.

Check your battery first, make sure that it is fully charged. Less than 12.5 volts and the starter motor will struggle. With ignition on, bridge the solenoid, and the red starter motor connection. At 120k miles, starter motor or solenoid could well be on the way out or needing new brushes. Oh, make sure that battery earth is sound, and engine earth to chassis is also a good rust free connection as well.

You'll most likely find this screw in plug on the side of the gearbox about half way up or better. Some have a square head you use a crescent wrench on and some have a plug you use a hex wrench on. Check your manual for the proper liquid to use for some of the newer units use a automatic transmission fluid instead of 90 weight gear oil. Remove the plug and put the fluid in until it starts running down your arm, it's full. Then put the plug in quickly and snug it down.
