It sounds like a stuck key on your keyboard. You can try dusting off the keyboard with compressed air. If you see any dirt or debris you can try to remove it gently from the keyboard. You may have to replace the keyboard. If that is the case you can replace it yourself or have someone competent do it for you.

Do not go to any other web site other than the official Lenovo.com website to obtain the correct drivers. You never know what drivers you are getting from other sources. You have been warned.

Can you plug a monitor into the external Video connector, and do you see a display there? If you see a display on the external monitor, then the LCD is most likely bad.

In Windows OS, cut & paste is commonly done with a right click of the finger pad as one would use a mouse. There are shortcut key strokes, but this always works and you'll never forget it. Control C and Control P are the short cuts.

Make sure that the opening in the case is properly aligned with the PC slot of the notebook. If it is not - disassemble and correct - assuming a PC (the old "PCMCIA") card is what you're trying to insert.

If you're talking about a connector on the mainboard that supports a built in Wifi PCB connector cable or an expansion slot on a desktop PC, please indicate exactly what you have.

Hey,

i am head of IT for a global ad company and lenovo is one of our clients..

Lenovo should have a partition on its hard drive which should allow you to access this and return it to the state you purchased it in. PLEASE BE AWARE DOING THIS WILL PROBABLY LOSE ALL YOUR FILES. however it looks like its the only option..

if you would like the files off your hard drive then i suggest extracting it and purchasing a hard drive reader SATA I/II to USBand a SATA UK Power adapter with UK Plug.

Take a look at the link below.

Hope this helps
