LG Televison & Video - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Hello Collin, the problem that you will have that the replacement strips correspond to a lower screen size, you could have less illuminated areas, another problem would be the work tension, surely the 42 "strips have less LED than the 47, therefore the strip of 42 "would be working with a feed voltage calculated for the 47"
I suggest you try to get the strips for the measure 47 ", change them all, they are new, because for this work you must remove the LCD panel, very fragile element
I hope you can solve the problem

I have had the exact same problem with my 47LG70 after 13 months of use. I changed my remote control sensor but it did not help. Before you do that, try something simple which seems irrelevant. On this website, others have posted success by plugging in any standing set of headphones into the remote control or headphone jack on the rear TV panel. This solved my problem. So I proceeded to thoroughly dust all of the input/output component jacks on the rear and side of the TV with an air-can. This solved my problem and I do not need to have the headphones plugged in. So try these two things before changing the sensor.

smart tv's have their own built in computer and as with any computer they can get confused and don't know what to do.a simple thing to try is unplug your tv completely from power source including a power strip. hold the power button down for at least 60 seconds plug it back in see what happens. don't cost anything to try this.

Hello Roe, for what you are commenting, it would seem a feeding problem, which can be either on the Food Source plate or on the Main plate, where the sub-sources are located
I send you the link of the service manual, control the voltages, remember to download the high voltage capacitor of the primary stage of the source
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
