Yes, there should be a tube with a closed top and a tube in the hole it self, it gets filled with water and then siphons out the contents.

Or there is an insert missing from the drawer which brings about the same effect, mix the bleach with water and siphon out.

Try press and hold the stop button for several seconds or leave in stop state and it may end cycle itself.

You can turn the power on, and hit the spin speed button, and then start it. It should drain out.

If your still getting an LE error, and already have replaced the Hall sensor, it's most likely the Stator. If you know your date of purchase, this is most likely still under the 7 or 10 year warranty. Meaning LG pays for the part (over $100.00+),

Make sure the machine is fillinf with enough water. Turn the hot and cold on and verify the machine if filling all the way, tis the season eith frozen pipes too. If the machine is bad sounding mechanically while washing it could be the trans, but make sure youre getting proper water into machine, especially the cold water for the rinse cycle.

These problems are the most difficult to repair. They are called intermittent. Check for the lid switch and also check the wire harness from the base of the machine and throughout the top control panel. Washing machines move a lot when the run and this causes wires to break. Some of those can break under the insulation and you cannot see the break.
