In my case it was a old connector harness located on your motor. Leads comming from tacho ( 2 red wires) were not passing thru harness. I rilpped them off and made solid but crimps.

Hope this helps a little.

Your washer is off balance or the load is unbalanced. If uL (unbalanced load) appears in display, the load is out of balance. The washer is running a load-balance correction routine.Sep 25, 2018

Two front panels with same error likely means its not the front panel but the control board. If the same service tech replaced the front panel twice and now same problem, he should realize the problem is not the front panel. But its easy for me to sit here in hindsight (and still be wrong). So absolutely no guarantee replacing the $300+ control board will fix the issue.

Pre-soak for an hour in a sink or pail with Vanish. Then wash on 40'C. Make sure there is enough water in the washer that the clothes can move. Overloading can cause bad washes as there is virtually no agitation.

Yes, the thump is water hammer caused by the solenoid shutoff valve in the washer closing abruptly when the tub is full. Water hammer stresses the piping joints and could eventually cause a leak. First, make sure that the piping is supported properly to restrain any excessive movement. If the thumping persists, you'll need a plumber to install an accumulator or 'dead end' pipe in the line to help dampen the shock of suddenly stopping the flow of water.

Assuming there are no lights on your machine at all. Check to make sure its power cord is plugged in. Second check the breaker. It most likely has tripped. Turn it off and back on. Machine should power on.
If this would fail you will need to call for service.
