What I usually do when the transmission is 100% empty and I'm not sure how much oil it holds, is to add about 8 quarts of fluid then start the engine and let it idle for about 20 seconds while manually shifting through all the gears while firmly holding the brakes on. Then I shut off the engine, wait a minutes or so and pull the dipstick. If no fluid is on the stick then I add about 2 more quarts and repeat. Once fluid is present on the stick then with the engine running I'll add a pint at a time until the fluid level is up to the proper level. Shift again through all the gears, recheck the fluid level, test drive it, and do the final recheck of the level. I've never seen any chart that is 100% accurate on how much a transmission holds - they'll be quite close but the only way to be certain is to do a final level check after a road test of a few miles.

I need to know exactly what I need to get fixed ??? It's not that easy Rachelle , could be cause by a number of thing's , without test the vehicle electrical circuit's ,checking for diagnostic trouble code's ,we'd only be guessing ! You don't want to replace a bunch of part's you don't need , do you ? Your best bet ,take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop. Just from your post i can tell your looking for a magical fix , have no clue of automotive electrical systems an testing of complex electronic system's .

check to see if it happens with the heater defroster if so the blower motor resistor is bad if it works with no interruption then it could be either a broken vacuum line or the ac doesn't have enough Freon in it because it has a leak in the system the cycling switches high/low pressure turn the compressor off to avoid damaging it if this is the problem adding Freon without finding the leak will not work and you will waste your $$$ ac systems are sealed and never ever need Freon unless there is a leak in the system which must be repaired and the system put under vacuum to evacuate any air inside there is no reset for the system if the ac starts and stops when rpms increase its either one of the above described ok

the base for it is bolted in from the inside and you must remove the roof liner to get axcess to it unless you have enough left to grab it and unscrew it from the base if not you have to drop the liner under it to remove it

I had a 06 Chevy which did not have power steering pump it had a electric motor assist. I know many cars have gone to electric motor assist on the steering. One more thing I had a problem once with my cobalt and it turned out to be an electrical problem. When voltage get low while running car will start saving voltage by turning off unnecessary things to keep the car running. The last day I lost power steering, radio and the next day the battery was dead. I changed the battery and the alternator was good and never had the problem again. I am just suggesting you check battery voltage and alternator output.

Ok you need to run it down to almost empty then have the filler neck removed from the body and with the hose in the tank and check for an obstruction inside it or crushed bypass tube in the filler neck if you don't find anything the fuel tank pressure valve is no good but it sounds like someone shoved something into the filler neck or its now further down into the first tank inlet baffle causing the gas to not enter the tank and climb back up into the filler neck causing the gas pump pressure sensor in the nozzle to constantly keep tripping at the gas station so you need to take out the filler neck and investigate it and the very beginning of the tank where the rubber gasket is there might be a rag shoved in there blocking the fuel entry especially if you have had problems with somebody recently or you think your mechanic is responsible to keep you paying when checking inside the tank you must not use any metals except brass it will not spark or a woodengine dowel to see if you feel something in there please post back everything that you have replaced to give me a better idea ok and if you can't do this get a guy to do it a 6 pack and a meatball hero/sub/hoagie whatever you call it will help and make sure he has big feet you never know right ha ha good luck

if you mean the actual blend door it's in the passenger side above the floor well behind the glove box in the heater case you will see a black plastic grid with a foam filter and it has an arm attached to it to move it into different post ions if you mean the blend door actuator that is behind the dashboard attached to the heater case if you open the glove box and move the side tabs in to drop the glove box all the way down look inside to the left almost where the radio is but below it you will see a white box with a plug in it with the arm attached to it for the door

Replace the fuel pressure regulator on it that usually is right before the fuel rail

There should be a routing diagram sticker under the hood that shows the correct installation around the various pulleys.

Once you have located the fuse panel, there will be a diagram showing the number, location, and size of the fuse. There should be a few spare fuses and a fuse plucker as well, providing they were replaced the last time they were used.

Hola buenas a todos, tengo un problema con el claxon de Ford Explorer 2002 XLS, le revis? en el gu?a y ten?a los cables desconectados los conecte y no suena, pero se escucha el relay activarse. Busco el claxon como tal pero no lo encuentro en el bumper, ni por debajo, no lo consigo. Me gustar?a saber si alguien tiene idea de donde ubica. Ya que no hay informaci?n relacionada en la web. You'll need to take it to a transmission specialist. They might be able to correct the ratio by fitting either a different rim size, a different tyre size or both. One full rotation of a tyre gets shorter as the profile, (sidewall height), gets smaller. So the correct 'low profile' tyre could fix the problem for not too much money.
