if you are using bluetooth, you need to sync the devices. One device should search for the other (make the other one visible to searches), select the device to link to and it should prompt you to enter a code that the other device generates on the spot.

Hello

What version of windows do you have? XP and Vista should work with built in drivers. If you have 98 or ME, you would need a mass storage driver that it appears RCA themselves dont provide.
Try this with the MP3 player plugged in.

Right Click on My Computer and select Manage
Expand the System Tools tab if needed
Select Device Manager

Look for any object with a yellow circle/black exclamation mark

If you see one for the MP3 player, right click, select properties, go to the
driver tab, then click uninstall.

Then, unplug and reconnect the MP3 player and reinstall.

You can't. Simple as that. You just need to convert the video file into the right video format file. Here is a site that might help you :)

I don't think that it is possible to remove the battery without disassembling the mp3 player.
However, if you would just like to reset it press and hold the MENU/Power button for at least 10 seconds. This should unfreeze it.
If it is still not responsive, wait for the battery to die and then plug it into your computer and restore it.

This could be because there is a DRM on the track and you need to register to play it.

Attempt to "format" the MP3 player through settings, or revert it to Factory Defaults. NOTE!!! This will delete EVERYTHING youve put onto the mp3 player, but may fix the problem. However this is a last resort, for a simpler way of troubleshooting, try to uninstall the drivers and software that came with the MP3 player and reinstall them. This may fix your problem when trying to access the player through your computer. If not, formatting may be your only option.

Have you converted them to mp4 format? Most mp3/mp4 players require converting of the video files in order to play.
