Use code search to find something that works. If a search through all codes stored in your URC fails, try a different one.

The digital TV recorder shown is an ATSC (digital OTA) to NTSC (analog OTA) signal converter. It connects between an OTA antenna (RF, RG59/RG6 connector) and an older television or VCR/DVD recorder with a NTSC tuner. Some wired security cameras use a BNC connector to the security system receiver.

I wish that I had better news for you.

How handy are you? If you are somewhat handy just order a digitizer assembly off eBay and replace it. It’s only a few small screws to remove and a couple of ribbon cables to unhook and reconnect to swap it out

This is not true. The “service only” USB port can be used for watching movies, viewing photos or text documents. I was shocked to find a hidden menu that I cannot access using the provided rca remote control. I have old android box which I was using for its USB port and it just so happens that the “info” button opens up the secret menu. Once open I have to use the provided rca remote control to navigate. It actually reads more file types than a Sony tv that has USB port as a marketed feature. It made this RCA 39” RLDRD3956A worth the $189 CDN Walmart was selling it for.
To hell with these companies blocking out features so they can market them on more expensive TVs. Effff these crooks. Never believe the lies Specialistal.

Sounds like a definite power supply issue, if you open the TV, there is likely a bulging capacitor on the power supply. Even if not a obvious capacitor problem, the Power board is likely the culprit.

I'd suggest trying to get the repair done outside of a electronic repair shop, they would likely charge upwards $400 for replacing the power supply in most TV

Can buy new one on many websites, or used on ebay.
at Shopjimmy.com you can search based on board #, and will give you list of compatible power boards, as well as a list of any other TV's that use the same power board, that will give you more options as far as finding a cheaper or even a used replacement to keep your costs to a minimum
make sure you buy based on the part # listed on the board, and not by the model number of your TV, as there are usually many sub-models that all have different interior parts, and most are not compatible with each other.

Cut the wires off an old headphone jack and put the jack in the headphone port at the back of the tv. It should turn off the speakers on the TV.
