I would like to turn the beep function on the Robic stopwatch clipboard off. How can that be done?
Here is the mechanical fix on how to turn off the stopwatch sound.
So, you pull the pins out, one at a time. The springs are pretty weak so you don't have to worry about them flying into your eyes. This also made reassembly easier than I thought it would be. Remove the clip, remove the screws and you will see a silver piece on the back plate of the clip which is about the size of a quarter. That's the speaker. Flip the back plate around (screw size) and simply push you screw driver through the hole pushing the speaker away from it's glued position. I put a piece of electrical tape over the hole and tossed the speaker. It's that simple. Now put everything back together. You can also bend the springs a bit to increase tension of your clip while it's apart. I hope this helped some of you.
I couldn't add images because I didn't feel like resizing them to keep them under 500k so if you want pictures of it, check out my amazon review.
I'm glad someone could answer your query, even if it's almost two years too late.
