I'm not familiar with your model, but I suspect that if the shelf does not simply lift off like mine does, there may a clip or two that needs to be depressed to release.

Although not exactly what you were asking about, this YouTube video shows how to release the clips on a lower shelf in a Sampung. It may spark an idea as to how to proceed on your shelf.

Samsung typically only releases certain error codes, reserving all others to service.

Try contacting Samsung services and they will walk you through the meaning of this code and if it needs a follow up vist by a service technician. Don't unplug the unit or try to clear the codes as the technician may need to run a history and see what other errors may have led up to this one.

Replace the icemaker. It it does nothing when pushing the test button it needs replaced

That sounds like a power glitch. Try pressing and holding the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for about 8 to 13 seconds and see if it clears.

If that doesn't do it, let me know and I'll dig up the Fast Track on it.

39E is a bad ice maker as you know. Try to heat up the ice maker with a hair dryer in case ice has jammed the ice maker from rotating properly. If it still doesn't work, the entire ice maker would need to be replaced I'm sorry to say. '

So error 40E means your ice maker fan isn't running properly and 24E means your freezer isn't defrosting properly. Both items are inside the freezer behind the back wall. You'll need to pull everything out of the freezer and remove the entire back wall inside the freezer. Thaw any ice or frost built up you see with a hairdryer. Re-install everything and then on the dispenser press and hold the upper right and upper left buttons to reset the error codes. If everything resets, then great. If it won't reset, then you need to replace your defrost temperature sensor clipped onto the top of the silver coils behind the back panel you removed, and you also need to replace the ice fan motor.

Change your water filter, you should change your filter at least every year or it will start to grow bactria. If you still have the bypass (little plastic cap) you can us that in the mean time to get better water flow, it goes where the filter goes
