Hello Sidney, so you comment, your Sansui would have problems in the back lighting of the LCD panel (BackLight)
Usually one or more LEDs are burned, this causes the lighting system and the TV to be interrupted, it keeps the screen dark and with sound
You should replace all the LEDs, to ensure a repair that lasts longer, because if you only replace the burns,
at any time another of the originals is burned and you have to do the work again, with the risk of breaking the LCD panel
I hope you can solve the problem, comment the results

Hello John, to interconnect your Philips DVD to your TV Sansui, you have two ways
The first using an audio and video cable with 3 RCA connectors (Yellow, for Video and White and Red, for Audio)
If you look at both computers you will find the same connections and simply interconnect color with color
To view this entry on the television, you must select the Video entry with the Source key on the TV or the remote control
Another option, also with RCA connectors is to use the Component Video connection (Green, Blue and Red, for the Video and White and Red, for the Audio) in this connection you use two RCA cables
To be able to see through this entry, you must select with the Source key, Component
And so you should be able to watch the DVD on TV
I hope my comment has served you
I send you links to download the user manuals of the two teams

The problem is in the Main board that also incorporates the T-con unit. Pull the main board out. Find IC 6201. Next to the two legs of IC6201, find Capacitor location C6212. Wick out C6212. Do not replace C6212. Your TV will come back to life! Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

can you see the tv control menu for brightness, etc? if not, then the screen is dead. otherwise, unless you know how to inspect and replace electronic components such as capacitors, you may as well replace it.

Sansui Televison... | Answered on Jun 10, 2019

its the T-con
Nowadays this module is directly connected in the screen panel
Therefore u have to change the screen

Hello Sharmin, for what you comment, your Sansui TV may have power supply problems, the T-Con board or the Main board, to know what it is, you would have to have a replacement of each board
I suggest you look for a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem
Greetings Franco Dosil
