sounds as if you don't have the proper divers installed for that printer. here's a link to get the software and make sure as it installs that the scanner software is one of the checked options so that it installs with the other drivers. https://www.driverscape.com/download/ar-5516-scanner

Improper cartridge (destination error,life cycle error)

1- replace the toner cartridge.
2- replace the chip toner cartridge.
3- check and fix connection between toner cartridge and mcu pwb.

toner light needs to be reset.
