You need gauges to check the freon charge while it's short cycling, could be restricted or low on charge! You might try cleaning the coils and see if it's an air restriction, you have a safety device causing it to shut down and most the time on those its bc they are interchanged!

Have you tried cleaning the *******? Sometimes the ******* will build up with naturally occurring calcium and heavy minerals from the water supply line. They freeze up and prohibit the water from spraying out. The water should come out as soon as the unit starts, perhaps that's the problem.

Check the entire water supply line and see if there is a clog or something. We once had a cockroach die in the reservoir at the top where the water is cooled. Make sure to check the entire area.

Could be the sparkler has failed. The clicking you here is the arc from the electrode to ground. Quick fix is to light the pilot with a BBQ lighter. Also, check to make sure you have a good ground on the fridge. A bad ground won't allow a good arc.

Rob I'am not sure if i understand right - fridge is cooling fine but control panel is beeping on DC and Gas? Just fixed similar problem in my trailer. So my door upper hinge got loose and lock-side of the door dropped a little. There is a small door sensor in instrument panel and i think it is magnetic. Since the door dropped sensor doesn't work properly and it thinks door is ajar - hence beeping. Try lifting door on lock side and see if that helps. I ended up replacing original hinge screws with bigger #10 by 3/4 hex head metal screws. Problem fixed... :-)

Are we talking about the filter that is mounted in your refrigerator and purifying the water dispensed at your 'fridge door?

It might be that your 'fridge's water supply is slow with low pressure. Pull your 'fridge from the wall and have a look behind it. You might find the water supply is attached to a valve at the wall. Check that the valve is turned to full open (beware that some valves, with a lever and not a knob, only turn a half turn to be full open)

Have you reset the icemaker? Usually there's a lever or switch that you have press to reset it. You did not post the make/model of your fridge so it's difficult to say which reset device you have.
