Use a winder if you must but I recommend just winding and setting when you want to wear them as most winders I have seen are very cheap and unreliable. Expect up to 50 hours from most watches usually not less than 30, this is if the have recent< 5 years, overhaul.

Check the instruction manual if you have one. Tag-Heuer watches move in 5 second intervals to let you know the battery needs replacing. A neat feature. Now you know that you have a real Tag!

Unscrew the crown and pull out halfway. Use the stopwatch buttons to advance the hand to where you want it. Then push the crown back in and screw it down. You may need to pull the crown out all the way--I cannot recall which setting controls the minute hand and which the hour hand on the stopwatch function. This has to be done every time the battery is changed.

I'm not sure this will help, but try to reset the watch completely. Use users manual how to do that.
Sometimes it does the job.

If that buttun is pushbutton, then the fixing stopwasher has come off (inside watch).
If you meen the crown (winding and setting button), then setting lever or setting lever spring is damaged or broke.
Find your nearest watchmaker as both need professional repair and parts.

I have a couple of questions. Do you wear the watch all day? How is your activity level ? If the answers to these is yes and good, then the problem lies in the self winding mechanism.
Without seeing the watch it is imposable to give you a complete estimate of the work needed.
We offer free estimates and all our work is guaranteed.

This is to let you know that the battery needs to be replaced.make sure that you use a watchmaker that can test and replace any worn case parts so that your watch will retain it's original design water resistance.
