call that number in to the dealer, they have the code.

may have to wait 1.5hrs with key on ACC if you've tried and entered one wrong code.

do you have your very own BMW mechanic? If not, they won't give you the code and act real snooty to you. You can give them money for them so assign you a mechanic.

regardless of make of car all o2 sensors are positioned between the exhaust manifold and the first exhaust box(cat converter, sometimes on the cat itself, but rare)it is round, about 1"round and 2.1/2" long, and sticks out from the pipe.....with wires attached.
cat converter sometimes goes just after sensor failure.fuel contamination.......

All rear seats come out with a good pull! Reach down behind the seat and give it a yank. It should let go, if not, try slamming it back from the front and lifting the front. It will come out. Hope this helps.

this could be a electric cooling fan located in front or behind the radiator,if your in traffic and the fan doesnt kick in your car wil overheat but when your just driving it probably will not.A simple test is to open the hood run the c ar and turn on the air conditioning, the fan should come on shortly if it doesnt this is a problem and should be lloked into, also make sure coolant is topped up and there are no leaks as air pockets would also cause overheating issues

One very usefull tip is to firstly have the front of the vehicle higher than the back. Possibly on a hill. This will encourage any trapped air to the front of the engine. You then need to locate the thermostat housing on the front of the engine where you will see an 8mm bolt. This is the bleed screw, on a car of this age take care as the screw may shear and then you will need to buy a new housing. Once this is opened fill the coolant expansion tank with coolant until it pours from the bleed screw and then close the screw.

When they start the inspection, the states computer
will read that codes have been recently deleted. This
will get you an automatic rejection. I know it will in mass. I would stop by an inspection station and ask
if your engine temp. can keep you from passing.
But if you wan't to clear the codes. Go by an autozone/napa or advance auto parts. They will clear
the code for free. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Best take advice from a workshop, the seat belt buckle attached to the seat has a pyrotechnic tensioner charge in it which is activated electronically. Can cause injury if triggered accidentally and in your hand etc! There are several electrical connections depending on year and model, as aminimum will usually be 1 for seat occupancy mat (tells ystem if seat occupied for airbag deployment) and the seat belt tensioner. Both are fairly obvious to see and can be tracrd back from seat to connector plugs. If doing yourself, suggest disconnecting battery with ignition on to discharge as much as possible from systems, remember anti-theft has sepearate power source, so may be noisy! And make sure you have any security codes for radio etc.
