Not sure but the flasher unit is separate from turn signals and most vehicles the turn flasher unit is not far from the steering wheel post up under the dash.

Trim has to first be removed as you sit in your seat and look at it. Study it, and you'll figure it out. Sometimes when you're pulling on it, it'll feel as though it'll break but it usually doesn't. This is too intense a subject to cover without some tutoring. With or without a tutor, you may be talking like a truck drivin' Sailor before you get to the lamps that need replacing. So start by taking not of the location of the dash lamps that're not lighting up.

they dont blink they just get bright and dim? may have a shorted bulb filament check the side that flashes funny..

Put your CRANK to ZERO and then put a screwdriver into the hole to see where the Line is and then align the Distributor that way, then you need to keep it loose so you can get the timing down correct.

As with any no start problem, you would need to check for power to the coil and the other ignition components.
It could be a relay or it may not have anything to do with changing the battery.

Start it up, when it hits operating temp that the thermostat open,Have gloves on that you don,t get burn,t, Seaze the hoses from the rad going to the engine one at a time to check if antifreeze is flowing trough them, If you don,t feel any flow on the top one ,the water pump is shot, Or you can take off the rad cap, Before you fire the truck up, Start it end watch if it is circulateing though the rad, But i have seen to many people get scolded that way, The hose trick is a safer thing to do. (PS) There could be a blockage ,That is causeing it to over heat All So,

Try unpluging head lamp switch. If they go off then the switch is in need of replacement. If they stay on then you have a short.

try to see if ur heater core is pluged up sumtimes that can cause ur car to over heat. hope this helps
