Check and see if your ground wire is grounding properly. I ran a new ground wire right from my engine and works good now. Some times the ground wire is affected by rust if it's grounded to the body itself.

Body control module. Put a scanner on it.

which engine. of the 9.?
in what country.???
is it EFI fueling system or CARB????? we can not guess any of this.

great first post , no starts. a real symptom.
the presumption is, it cranks, ok and robustly.

the clutch switch on all cars, prevent starting this is A FEATURE.
key on, CEL lamps glows, if not fix that first.
the ECU needs power to run, 12v,, so check all EFI fuse.

on all engines. gasoline, there are 3 steps (and other oddities)
1: compression good on ALL cylinders. this is always first.
most skip this test, as its 30min easy work. but is 1st,
because it takes a good engine to burn fuel.
2: spark test spark on all cylinders. (do the 60k tuneup now , is a win)
3: fueling. (too much called flooding ,and too little or none.

The ECU cuts fuel if it suspects weak or no spark BY DESIGN.
prevents as seen on TV Crash and burns.

which swift?
the canada one?

you have a choke and carb,. NOT IN USA.
so why not say country, we cant help you unless you state
the engine size and country.
what is a light vacuum line.?
chock is easy.
but light?

all vacuum lines, un plug them , put new back in.
they push on and off. no clamps no treads;

93 swift, has these engines. and many carbs used world wide
in fact fueling is regulate by LAWS in most countries.

G13 A or B?
G16A or B?
lots of engines.
i have vacuum maps (real suzuki) but the first question
in the database is WHAT COUNTRY? or market.

take it to the dealer. for the fix or get the FSM on car and read
all the complex steps on doing that. RTM.
1993? no air bags right, (they can be dangerous to any mechanci)
pull the steering wheel off.
then remove the tamper bolts from key lock assembly.
then put in a new lock.
once the keyassemlbe is out , take it to any key/lock shop and
ask him/her to fix it, if they cant, then buy a new one.
if you want to hot wire the car, get the FSM, and use that and its
schematics to see if you can do it, if not. ask a qualified, autoelectric
shop to do it.
if the key switch has locking steering feature, like all here(usa)
do not let it fail, is it might lock while driving. DO NOT LET THAT HAPPEN. Safety first, no>?
