Were is the fuel pump relay in a 1996 lexus es300 nott in the panel under the hood it empty.cant hear fuel pump on when turning key?

My cars relay fuel and fan were stolen by a guy was fixing my door. Right?????? So caused my car to be jumped started then hesitate and stop when trying to drive alternator fuse was all tore up cause the jerk didnt know you needed to unscrew it from the bottom. So he cracked it. I am going to pick up the pricy relays today let you know what happens

I have a 1996 lexus es 300. code P0303. I have

there are open or short in the engine wire,check the connection of the connector,check also the connection of vaccum hose,injector,fuel preesure,and ignition system,,good luck.

While driving recently I lost power and the car

Could be the ECU has failed. Is the Check Engine Light (CEL) on? It should light up when the IGN is turned on, before you try to start. If not, the ECU is not powering up. This does not mean the ECU is dead, as there are relays and IGN switch circuits that route +12v to it. If you smelled something like rotten fish when you lost power, then its because electrolytic capacitors in the ECU have failed. ECUs also have a "limp-home" mode when the engine management circuits have a partial failure.

I have a 1998 lexus es 300.my check engine light

I had a 94 sunbird and when we stopped, it would start running a little rough and the speedometer on the dash would start raising up sometime to 20 mph, and the car was not moving. I finally took it to a shop and they said it was the voltage regulator which was built into the alternator. They changed the alternator and we never had the problem again. The speedometer on the car was controlled by and electric circuit not a cable. You should have the code checked it can help diagnose the problem. Most auto part places where I live will tell you the trouble code for free with their code reader.

Quite often that is to do with your Gear Position Neutral Safety switch.

1996 Lexus ES300 Has Sprung a leak in the power steering

My 2005 ES330 had to have new hoses last year. It was losing a little fluid and I was topping it up once a month when the power steering started making whining noises. Eventually, I was topping it up one a week, and I had used a full bottle of fluid, I bought another and booked it in for the next week. You just need hoses. Dealership charged me about $375, but I did get to borrow an LX350.

Lexus es 300 1996 O/D OFF light in on. What is it? How can I turn

the lexus es 300 has a button on the shifter. when accidentally pressed, will turn the o/d off. simply press the button on the gear shift.

Power Steering Leak

Many "pour in" chems are harsh and will not only swell the seals you need swelled but ALL seals. I have had a lot of success with Lucas additive. It seems not be as harsh as other products and is a good lubricant and conditioner. I recommend you drain the system if possible to get rid of as much old oil and contamination as possible to prevent additional wear as well.

What causes my Lexus ES300 to feel like it is not getting gas and wants to shut off when in drive, but gets the gas and power when in park or neutral?

I thought it was my fuel pump. It's likely your ECU.
The capacitors may have begun leaking.
I redid mine and fixed the problem.
