How do I replace starter solenoid 2000 kia sportage
at the right side of the vehicle under the battery there is the starter bolted by three screws you need to get under the vehicle to loose the screws use a 14mm socket and wrench to get the bolt loose it takes a bit of maneuvering to get it out of the tight space but it is possible and simply reverse to get the new one in remember to disconnect the battery and the lines to the starter before starting to work

I have a 1999 Kia Sportage 2.0 Engine.I have done
The napa gold filter which is a wix filter is the best on the market, but even if oil would not go through the filter you would still have oil pressure. If the oil level is correct and the oil light is off when the engine is running, your oil change should not have affected the engine.
There is a recall for certain 2,0 hyundai/Kia engines because of "knocking" due to metal shavings left in the crankshaft oiling holes during manufacturing, you may be able to get a free new engine from the dealer if your engine is on their list.

Winding down noise when stopping and big jolt when I do!
Dear Sweetallday5,
Without seeing the car, and being able to hear and look at it underneath, anything we can do is guess.
Now, here is a really good guess.
Do not drive the can one more mile, not even to a repair shop.
Have it towed.
Otherwise, you stand the risk of having it quit on you in the middle of the street, or even wreck whilst you are driving it.
As far as being worth it to fix, only an honest mechanic can tell you that.
God bless your efforts.
