What can cause a Check engine code P0128 to come back after it was fixed once. Coolant sensor and thermostat were replaced and no check engine light for about 2 weeks.

my tire pressure warning light comes on and my tire pressure is fine...i unhooked the battery it stayed off for a couple of days then popped back on...is this a reoccuring problem with this car? please help....ty

Your tire pressure is monitored by a device known as a TPMS sensor.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System is an integral part of your tire that tends to wear with age.
You need to take your vehicle to a reliable shop (I recommend Discount Tire) to have the TPMS sensor in the defective tire replaced. It's simple, and inexpensive.
I have used Discount Tire's services for almost 20 years, and have never been disappointed with their service.

I purchased a 2004 Kia Spectra EX last year. The front end of the car shakes excessively when I accelerate 50 + MPH. I took it to the dealer and they told me I need new tires. I took it to 2 different tire places, tire kingdom and Kaufmann tires and they told me nothing is wrong with my tires. The 2 tire places told me to take it back to dealer asking if the car was in an accident. (I don't know). They told me it may be a problem with the engine mount or something to that effect. I took it back to the dealer and they are giving me the run around stating it is the tires. The front end feels like the entire engine is going to fall out, the entire car shakes really bad. Please help.

I had the same problem on a 2003 Kia Sedona where the front end would vibrate excessively while accerating at freeway speeds. Over time it got worse and was noticable at lower and lower speeds and while just maintaining speed, but went away when I took my foot off the gas.
It turned out to be the inner CV joint on the passenger side. You can check for this by grabbing the inner and outer half axels with large vice grips or slip-joint pilers and turning them in opposite directions while listening for crunching or "loose parts" noises.
The CV is sold with the axle so I just bought the outer half axle for $80 (which has the inner and outer CV joints attached) and replaced it. If you do it yourself, make sure you have a ball spline fork, a hub puller tool, and a big torque wrench for putting the bearing assembly back on. You can rent these at AutoZone.
The bad CV joint also caused the bearing to go bad. It had burn marks and made a grinding noise while turning. It was very hard to get out, so I had to take the assembly to a machine shop to have it taken out and the new one put in. $35 for bearing and $30 for machine shop work.
After repair, I took an 800 mile road trip that weekend with no problems other than barely noticable vibration from the driver side at 70+ mph. I figure vibration was so bad pre-repair that it messed up something on the other side as well, so I'll check out the driver side bearing and CV when I get a chance.

you can get the alarm to go off by unlocking the right door or the trunk with the key if it is a stock unit,if it is an after market one you can go to a stereo store and have a universal key fob programed for your unit(as for universal I mean they have several different options for each brand of alarm).
You can also have one for a stock alarm system done by the dealership.

In the mornings when I first start my 2004 Spectra, there is a squeaking when I turn my steering wheel as I back out of my garage and then as I turn the wheel to the opposite side when I start out of my driveway. It sounds like an old belt but am not sure. Does anyone have any advice? Is it easily fixable by an amateur shade-tree mechanic type guy?

hi check your power steering belts not slipping when its as when the your driving your kia and it is hardly moving and you turn the steering it put more strain on the belt as it warms up it may not be as noticeable the noise is coming from the front of the car and not the steering wheel itself i presume if its coming from the steering wheel that totally differnt just let me know yates210456

Makes no diff left or right turn, there's one flasher under the dash next to steering columb. Possibly in the fuse panel, but I don't think so. Turn the switch on and flip the signal, listen for the relay/flasher to be clicking. That's the easy way to find it. Even if all you can do is feel the unit flashing. Pull it down and change it. Just plugs into the accessory block.

May have a faulty motion sensor, try reprogramming the alarm. also a week battery will turn the alarm on when the charge drops and goes back up, take it to an Auto Zone or Kragin type auto parts store for a free charging system check. Your clutch problem may be due to after market parts (just not the same) but I would check that the fly wheel is not turned past the specs, may have to replace with next clutch job. also remember to keep your foot off the peddle when driving, the slightest pressure will drag the clutch.
