How can I manually close the Panoramic Vista Roof in my 2008 Ford Edge SEL?

There is usually a removable plug, and when you remove it, you will see a socket that has a slot for a winding handle that you will have in your tool kit.

However, it sounds like yours has rotted out. You need a dealership. Duct tape until you can get there.

Sunroof opens on its own, when driving, just opens about 10th of an inch, you can push on it and it lifts also

it sounds as though the actual glass roof section has come loose from the frame that allows the roof to slide back and forth , try opening the roof half way and see if there are any securing screws/bolts from the glass roof edge to the frame , i've tried to get a schematic but have'nt found one yet , will forward one when i do , hope this helps
