Turn signal indicator flashing too fast? check to see that all parking lights are working, if you have one burned out, replace it and then recheck the indicator flash to see if it goes back to normal. some vehicles will do that if a parking light bulb is burned out. parking lights are the lights that come on when you don't turn on the head light switch all the way.... check all them front and back to see if any are burned out.. if they are good, then check the turn signal bulbs front and back on both left and right sides ..if all them are good, then replace the turn signal flasher. if you do that, and it's still flashing too fast, take the vehicle to the dealer and ask them if it's actually too fast or if it' normal. and if its not normal to them, and you have done all the above, tell them what you replaced and tell them to check it out for you so it's done right the first time.

Alpha Romeo 156 My Left hand indicator light stays on continually, does not flash. and when I turn the hazard light switch on both indicators continually glow.

Generally speaking, symptoms of a bad or failing turn signal bulb are usually the your case, either it's the front left or rear bulb. Varies for different vehicle makes...common signs include:
  1. turn signal light staying on solid
  2. or blinking very fast
  3. or either sides of the bulbs stop blinking altogether.
To test this, make sure you reconnect everything you disconnected.
Turn the left signal light on; go to the front of the vehicle, is the turn signal bulb illuminated? If it lights up, even though it is not blinking obviously the bulb is okay. If it doesn't, replace it- problem solved. You'll do the same procedure for the rear turn signal Is that lit up? If not replace the bulb and the problem is solved.
Another common failure is when the turn signal blinks really fast, same procedure as mentioned above.
If both bulbs for the left side and right side illuminate but don't blink, the problem is in the steering column turn signal switch.
If the left or right side blinkers don't work properly at all...then check the integrated hazard warning/turn signal flasher relay- that may be defective; again, that's usually the case if both sides of the signal light don't work.
If you are blowing any fuses related to the flasher system, you have an electrical overload in the turn signal circuitry.

02 Buick LeSabre Ltd. Rear flashers work (blinking rapidly), front bulbs stay on, inside indicators also flash rapidly. Replaced control module under the dash. Did not help. What else could it be?

Hi there., when flashers/indicators work rapidly on the dashboard you should check whether it is the same on the actual bulds. Fadt flashing is usually a sign of a bulb failure somewhere. If everything is functioning ok externally I would consult a competent technician for a diagnosis.

Turn signal doesnt flash when turned on???

If your turn signal indicator is coming on but won't flash, it is caused by one of two things.
  1. A burned out bulb (or a bad circuit to the bulb)
Check ALL the bulbs. Does it flash in one direction and not the other? The side that is not flashing will have a bulb that is not working. It may be a front bulb or a rear bulb, so check them all. Also make sure that there are the same number of bulbs illuminating on both sides. Some cars have 2 turn signal bulbs on each side in the rear. At first glance it may look like they are all working, then when you look closer you may find that only one bulb is illuminating on one side while there are two on the other.

2. If both sides are malfunctioning and you are certain that all the bulbs that are supposed to light with the turn signals are working, then replace your flasher unit.

do both sides flash fast or just one side ? if it's both sides you may wish to purchase a new flasher relay for your car. if it's fast on one side still... check further to see if there is a burnt out bulb including (if it has one the side marker light).
