If you look straight at your engine. In front will your exhaust manifold. Right across from it on your radiator and grill will be your O2 sensor . It clipped to the frame with two sets of wires coming out of each side. That is your O2 sensor.

Usually the O2 sensor will be on the exhaust manifold close to the engine, I'm going to assume you have a pretty good idea of what you are doing so if you need more details don't hesitate to ask.

Still getting code 26 after changing O2 sensor. 94 tercel. had 25 and 26 now only 26

if it is the o2 sensor heater circuit, the car needs to be idled for 2 minutes after cold start then driven for 3 minutes at 60kmh.that will set the monitor.

Sounds like the rear O2 sensor is at fault, you may try to replace it yourself, if you are mechanically inclined.

1994 Toyota Tercel, Low power at lower rpms up to about 3k I'm guessing seeing as how I have no tach; picks up a bit after 3k rpms. Also runs rough at idle after it warms up. Cel code 25, I have replaced...

if the ignitioin system is ok and not in need of replacing, I would venture that your catalytic converter is plugged. Had similar issues with a Chevy and that was it, when you drive for a few minutes, then pop the hood, will your exhaust manifold flash fry an egg? is it red hot? then replace the converter and have a nice day. this would also foul your O2 sensor.

have you checked your O2 sensors? usually a faulty O2 sensor will trip a lean/rich code.
