Likely a head gasket problem, between the water jacket and the one cylinder. Look for bubbles in the radiator with the radiator cap off before it heats up. Or run compression check on that cylinder. See if it holds the pressure after you stop turning over the engine.

the seals should have been put onto the glass before replacing the glass onto the car, you may have to remove the glass again to put them on.... there is no way to just put the seals on after placing the glass in.

What should the resistance be on a coil pack 06 Xterra?

My info says you don't have a coil pack. You have coil on plug ignition, one coil for each spark plug. If you have a misfire on a particular cylinder, your trouble code should tell you which cylinder, then you check fuel--spark--compression on that cylinder. A p0300 misfire code is a misfire common to all cylinders, or the computer thinks there is a misfire but can't tell which cylinder.

I've got a 04 cts 3.6 and I've changed the plug

If you have a flashing MIL Lamp STOP
using it & work on the Class A Cylinder
Misfire, before you ruin the exhaust converter

I assume your not diagnosing your codes or have
any factory manuals or use the internet, to learn how
to work on today's technology

No reason to change an injector, unless your fuel trim
is off on that bank, or you have a wet cylinder & have
tested the injector for failure

You may have to walk a new coil to other cylinders,
until you get the really bad one,I would bet on a 2004
ALL the coils have a some misfire counts,if you look at
Mode $06 Data

Best if you have a scan tool, to look at data

I would change any coils that are over 6 years or never changed

Change your front Oxygen Sensors at 100,000 miles

Clean the MAF Sensor

CHANGE NEW PLUS AND WIRES NOW HAVE BAD SKIP AND STILL MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 4

Would need my head under the bonnet to find the answer ,from your description it could now be a injector who knows but take the plug out and see if its all wet and black then go from this point as fault could be a coil pack /valves or fuel injector but as you havent stated year then again it could have a coil on each cylinder or a remove coil pack as you stated it has HT leads (wires)

Number 3 and 4 are not firing from coil on 2002 subaru outback 2.5

its faulty coil.

Get the compression test done on each coil.these will let you know if its faulty coil or not.

=========

It can be issue with spark plugs or faulty spark plugs. Also get the compression test done for cylinders. If any of cylinder shows low compression then required, then that particular cylinder will cause misfire.

Also get obd codes scanned, the error code will let you know which cylinder is misfiring or all cylinders are misfiring.

My Sentra is overheating. I changed the Thermostat before taking it to the local Autozone and have the check engine light checked out. Well I was told there after scanning the computer that it is a MISFIRE...

First step is new plugs. It's possible that you have a fouled #1 plug. If that doesn't work, check spark wires (if the car is so equipped) or if it has direct coil-on-plug ignition, where each cylinder has a coil pack on top of the plug, swap the coil packs between cylinders 1 and 2. Clear the code, run the car, and rescan the computer. If the code moves to indicate cylinder 2 misfiring, then your coil pack needs to be replaced.

1997 altma codes p0304,p0325 thanks mike

p0304 misfire on cylinder #4
p0325 knock sensor circuit

Could be a bad wire, plug, or coil pack on cylinder #4 (or bad distributor connection).

Knock sensor indicates a knock coming from the engine, perhaps from cylinder #4.

This may lead to a diagnosis if you change parts related to cylinder #4.

Good luck.

I have a 2002 TrailBlazer with the straight 6,diognostic check said #3 cylinder was dead or misfiring, also map sensor showed up. #3 cylinder was misfiring, so to test the coil pack I swapped #3 coil pack...

did you replace only one spark plug? that can cause issues because of differences in resistances between cylinders. also, did the map code stay off after replacing
?

Error code said misfire on #6 cylinder. How to I tell if problem is the coil or fuel injector#6?

if the coil is bad the spark plug will be black or wet, if the injector is bad the spark plug is dry

I would pull the sparkplugs and examine. Are they Black? ,Wet?, Hot?, Cold? Also whenever you change the plugs change the wires (cap and rotor if app.).Cracked wires are hard to see but can cause spark to find ground before it gets to sparkplug.8 year old car how many full tune ups?.Good Luck.
