Question about 2006 Mitsubishi L200 2.5
WE ALREADY CLEAN & GRINDING THE VALVES ,TIMING BELT CHANGED(,TIMING ARE CORRECT) BUT THERE IS BACK FIRE NOW THROUGH THROTTLE BODY. IF WE RAISED THE VEHICLE WILL RAISED SLOW DOWN BACKFIRE IS OCCUR
May be valve adjustment? lean? Is it rhythmic or random? If its rhythmic find out which cylinder has the problem disconnect each spark plug until the back firing stops.

the timing belt is not on exact plas mor the timing of theplags are not exact ignition timing for 4 cylinder is 1,3,4,2 for a six sylinder is 1,5,3,6,4,2

Hello! The Top Dead Center Sensor is the most likely culprit...However, it is not sold as a separate item and is part of the distributor...The cost of which is $350...I would suggest having the vehicle hooked up to a diagnostic machine to be certain...A diagnostic check should be under a $100...See distributor picture below...
