All the gauges stopped working on a 1989 mercedes 300sel and I suspect a relay that is bussing. The part # is 201-821-00-47. The relay is 3 1nches long by 1 1/4 in wide by 2 1/4 in tall.

Same prob 89 TE wagon. Sounds like a relay just to the lower left of the dash buzzing. Gauges inop: fuel, temp, oil press, tach. Clock still works, where is that relay of which you speak? Sounds like that is bad, it happened after the coldest night of the year (here in SE PA), maybe froze up?....any help would be great!

1991 300 SE dash guages except clock and economy meter are all controlled by 2018210047 relay located in the main fuse/relay panel under the hood in front of the driver. It is 3" by 1" and sits beside the longer DTR headlamp control relay. Normally noted as "B" on the mercedes pictorial legend of the main fuse relay box. Headlamp and DTR box is noted as 'A".

1989 Mercedes-Benz 300-Class

There is a Blower Motor Relay in that system. It is located behind the center of the instrument panel, on connector i27.If it's not the faulty relay, then it is the blower motor .

The blower is controlled by the blower motor in the unit. The blower motor needs to be checked and replaced. The blower motor. The brushes are probably worn and the brushes, or the motor, needs to be replaced. It is located under the front cowl. Check out.Thanks.

My gauges for the fuel & odometer are not working on my vehicl, it's a 1991 mercedes benz 300sel. what do i need to do?

It's your fuses, I have an 88 300SE and most of the problems are due to the fuses.
I had the same issue last week and changed most of the fuses and most everything worked accept the antenna due to a gound fault so I unplugged it.
So if you change the fuses everything should be ok, if the keep blowing it means you have a ground fault problem and need to take it to a MBD.

good luck
