Was pulling fuses and now the wipers dont work on my C240

Also, the trunk light does not get power and the battery goes dead in a day and a half with no car use. So which fuse is for the trunk light? The fuse diagram is conviently not located in fuse box one.

2007 lexus 460ls battery goes dead if not driven for 2 days. what is wrong??

something is turned on and killing the battery. Check the trunk light....(does it really go out when the lid is closed?. Take the bulb (s) out and see if that makes a difference....also if you have one on the hood lid....do the same thing...and pull out the cig lighter too...and also the bulb in the glove box. Something that is NOT on your accessories power is staying on.

BATTERY GO DEAD OVERNIGHT ON A 1984 PONTIAC FIERO

If your fan isn't running it shouldn't be drawing electrical current, but this procedure should narrow down the cause:

The positive battery cable goes to the starter and a couple fusible links feed the fuse block from there. I recommend hooking up an ammeter inline with the negative battery cable and pulling fuses until you find the one that stops drawing current on the ammeter when you pull it. At that point you will have found the circuit that your battery killer is on. Look at a wiring diagram for your car and see what devices are on the guilty circuit. Look and see if those devices are on/broken/shorted.

Common causes of "overnight dead battery" are: courtesy/trunk light on with doors/hood/trunk closed/sticky power door lock solenoid/aftermarket equipment installed to constant power instead of keyed power.

Good luck,

02Ford Taurus windows windshield wipers locks wont work

Sounds like the wire you used for power was oon the circut for all those other things, or if you pulled the fuse box down to hook radio up through the fuse box, you may have grounded out some wires, or knocked them loose. Use a test light or voltmeter and make sure you have power at the fuse box for wiper, dashlight, trunk release, door lock fuses.

Why does my battery keep going dead I have relaced it 3 times a new alternator if the car sits for 2 days or more and is not started and ran the battery is completely dead

BATTERY DRAINS ARE TRICKY. TURN OFF ALL SWITCHES, CLOSE GLOVE BOX. MAKE SURE GLOVE BOX LIGHT IS OUT. OPEN THE HOOD. DISABLE THE UNDER HOOD LIGHT. CLOSE ALL THE DOORS. MAKE SURE ALL COURTESY LIGHTS ARE OUT. DISCONNECT NEG. BATTERY CABLE. USE 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT, CONNECT ONE END TO A METAL PIECE ON THE MOTOR FOR GROUND. FASTEN THE OTHER END TO THE NEGATIVE BATTERY POST. IF THE LIGHT IS ON, THAT MEANS THERE IS A BATTERY DRAIN. LIGHT NOT ON, NO DRAIN. IF THE LIGHT IS ON, FIND THE POWER BOX NEAR THE BATTERY. PULL OUT ONE FUSE, IF THE LIGHT STAYS ON PUT HE FUSE BACK, PULL OUT THE NEXT FUSE. IF THE LIGHT STAYS ON PUT THE FUSE BACK . REPEAT THIS UNTIL THE LIGHT GOES OUT, OR GETS VERY DIM. OUT IS BETTER. WHEN THE LIGHT GOES OUT, THAT IS THE CIRCUIT THAT IS DRAINING THE BATTERY. REFER TO OWNERS MANUAL TO IDENTIFY THE CIRCUIT. IF THE LIGHT NEVER GOES OUT, REMOVE THE WIRES FROM THE ALTERNATOR. IF THE LIGHT GOES OUT, ALTERNATOR NEEDS REPLACING.

you would need to slow down you have done so much that you have given me a sore head.lets start at the begining, battery dead so what made the battery go dead?so now you have alsorts of problems.im going to use the phrase again slow down, have you a battery problem if you dont then you might have a charging problem, have you crossed live wires and blown fuses?.i would say whatever happensd the main 30/40 fuse on the battery is blown but remamber .something has blown this very heavy fuse, get the system checked out.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,,

Battery goes dead when car sits 3-5 days 98 park ave

Obvious that something is drawing down the battery...Put a test light between the negative cable and the negative post of the battery (remove cable first) start pulling fuses till light goes out. That will tell you what system is drawing...you can then begin looking for the actual problem. If all fuses pulled and light remains on ,chances are you have an internal alternator problem.
