Check and make sure your fuel filter is not clogged. if that's fine you may need to change your idle air control valve

Yes the crank sensor can cause this problem, they go open when hot.

Your A/C sounds like it needs to be vacuumed
out and then recharged to factory specs. That
should solve the problem.

Have your battery tested. When the battery has a problem the dodges will act this way.

SOURCE: 1996 DODGE RAM 1500 LOSES OIL PRESSURE AFTER

There are several reasons. The oil viscosity can make a difference and if the oil is contaminated with fuel. Wear in the oil pump and all of your bearings starting with the main crankshaft bearings and the connecting rod bearings. The wrong or bad oil filter.
When cold oil flows it plugs leaking bearings and oil gears. When the oil warms, the wear in the bearings (gaps) can't hold back the thin oil and the pressure drops. If the bearings are replaced before the crank and cam are damaged, the pressure will be maintained.

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with a outside temperature sensor not working. It's always reading 54 degrees C. I have tried a new sensor and that's not the problem. Any other suggestions?

Mine was the small circuit board in the overhead console. Got one from a junk yard and swapped it out with no problems. Just make sure the plastic is warm, as when cold they break real easy.

First i would check the crank sensor by looking for rpm's on the tachometer or scan tool if you see any rpm's then crank sensor is good. Then check for leaking injectors and if they are not leaking then you will need to check the ECM it may have failed.

Heater in 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 blow cold air out of vents on driver side and warm air on passenger side when turned to heat. What could be possible cause?

Not sure about your dodge, but on hondas there is a lever under the driver side vent to allow fresh(outside air) when its cold out, it will be cold, even with the heat on inside, so check to see if your has that lever somewhere on that side...hope that helps

2003 ram 1500, when cold at first start, put into drive transmission will not catch at first, after warm ed up seems ok, this is not every time.

I used to have a 96 caravan that did the opposite of your problem. It was a shift silenoid that had a bad seal. cost about $60.00 to fix myself. Maybe you have the same problem.

1997 dodge 1500 starts fine when cold, won't restart when warm.

No, the coil the is not the problem. I would take the ignition module and have it tested. Even though it may not test bad b/c it is still cold, it is more than likely the problem. Have you checked to see if you are getting spark when the trouble occurs?
