    Under the driver front fender, plugged into the air intake box. Remove the plastic inner fender and it's right there.

My 1998 nissan pathfinder will not turn over when it is warmer out -3 to -5 C unless I plug in the block heater. It starts fine when it is colder out even when it is not plugged in. I think it may have to do with some sort of sensor-temperature? Oxygern?

// // 0) preLoad.src = ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_ImageArray[i]; } ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.lastIndex = 34; ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.populateLog = theForm.elements['ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_PopulateLog']; ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.treeViewID = 'ctl00$cphLeft$chRepairTreeNav$tvTOC'; ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.name = 'ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data'; //]]>

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is an integral part of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. Looks like this:

It is small and round (2 wire connector) and located either in the flexiable air intake hose to the engine or in the engine air filter housing.
