Question about 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Please help, I require the fuse location on Merc e270 CDI - rear number plate lights.
I get two errors on my console stating thate left and right number plate lights are not working.
Also, I can not open the rear boot using my remote control key.
All these problems are concentrated within the boot lid but can not work out what could be wrong. I have checked all fuses in the front and also at rear. THis could be a case of missing fuse from the

it was a easy fix, broken wires in the boot a common fault with mercedes.

I had the same problem in me 2004 cdi e270. Check the voltage going to the battery when the car engine is on. Stedy charge of 12v should be going in to the battery, if the voltage is volitale say between 11v to 14v then it your Regulator (which is attached to the backend of the alternator). You need to change alternator and then unplug all the batteries over night and re plug them back again. The problem should go away.
