Question about 2001 Buick Century
Check battery feed to starter first, then check starter relay in cjb (central junction box under the hood) if that dosnt work gently tap the starter. if all else fails check ignition switch, or jiggle shift selector. neutral safety switch might be bad. last but not least have starter checked out at autozone

The solenoid located on the starter motor is going bad. You do NOT have to get a whole starter to fix this. Just replace the solenoid. You can get that part at any auto parts store.
