That code for your hyundai means the tcm "transmission control module" is faulty, check the wiring harness leading to the control module for any cracked or cut wires that would be causing a short, but more than likely you would have to replace your tcm junk yard or ebay would be your best bet good luck.

Those are transmission codes. P0700 is to alert you to the fact the transmission has a fault code stored, the P0725 is the fault that has occurred. Follow the link for info on P0725

2hat does code #P0700 mean on a 2007 Chevy Silverado. 4x4 mean

DTC P0700: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Requested MIL Illumination
DTC P0700 can not be cleared from the ECM until the related TCM codes have been cleared.

The transmission control module (TCM) uses the (GMLAN) to signal the engine control module (ECM) that the TCM is requesting malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination. This happens when the TCM has determined that a failure affecting emissions has occurred in transmission control system. When the ECM receives the a message from the TCM, DTC P0700 will set.
You don't say which engine your's has ! Or which transmission .
Automatic Transmission - 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E

You need to have TCM checked for codes .

HOW TO FIX CODE P0700

1. Disconnect the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and get a resistance reading from pin 60 to pins 16 and 17, should be 1-3 ohms.
2. If the resistance is high, check the wiring from the TCM to the solenoid pack. If OK, replace the solenoid pack
This is a code for the poertrain control module recieving an error from the transmission control module, you need to clear the p0700 code from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

2005 Huyandai Santa Fe chugs when idle and while accelorating. check engine light just came on and car shakes while its moving. Whats wrong?

Whenever the 'CHECK ENGINE' (Service Engine Soon) light comes on, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). These codes identify the particular engine management system which caused the light to come on.
You'll need to use/find an OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic) Scanner to retrieve any code which have been stored in the ECU computer. Afterward, we might be able to help you DIAGNOSE the problem and perhaps eventually fix the problem.
