It's on the side of the transmission under the drivers door. The shift cable runs to the control arm it is under.

SOURCE: diagram bypass heater cord on 2001 ford expedition eddie bauer

the heater bypass is quite simple, if you look at the firewall you will see two medium sized coolant lines, remove them from the firewall and link them together using a proper sized tube, you can purchase a kit at a parts store quite cheaply

SOURCE: Location of Shift Solenoid in 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer?

They are round "cans" with wires attached. You should have SSA, SSB, SSC, Torque converter and Pressure Control solenoids. They control pressures and have no mechanical linkage.

I have a 1995 F-150 Eddie Bauer custom edition truck. It's engine is a 351 Clevland w/ 5 speed automatic transmission and is also 4x4 that can be changed into 4 wheel drive from inside the truck on...

I have a 1999 Eddie Bauer Edition Expedition that has a fob on it that if you remove it will not allow the vehicle to start. Sometimes, my dad bumps it with his knee and the next time he tries to start it it will not start unless it is reconnected by inserting it properly into its receptacle. I'm no sure if you have this set up, though, for the security system.

If it's a neutral safety switch, you might try jiggling the shifter clockwise and counterclockwise while trying to start the vehicle.

Some mechanics with guts would put a screwdriver on the 2 solenoid contacts to bypass the other circuitry in the car to at least make it turn over with the ignition on so that it will start. I'm not sure if that's a route that you want to take though. Maybe, try to get AAA to tow it up to 100 mi. under their plan.

I need to know what fuse that powers the fuel pump in my 1999 ford expedition it has a 5.4 va 4 wheel drive

OK, there are fuses on the driver's side down below.

But, if you are having a fuel pump problem, it's likely that the fuse is alright and you need to replace the fuel pump. Same thing happened to our 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It quit working. And the inertia fuel cutoff switch didn't help, either (flipping or pushing it).

So, if you have no fuel coming, it may very well be the fuel pump.

We changed ours around 112000mi.

What is a solenoid;

the solenoid sits at the top of the air spring and is connected to the air hose that inflates the air spring.
you untwist it to remove it from the air spring. it unscrews in 2 steps normally as a safety so it doesn't come off under high pressure..
