SOURCE: fuse box diagram for owner manuals online I also have a 2000 expedition and it is normally one of the coil packs is out if you have an autozone near you they will put it on the tester for free and that way you will know what is wrong and if it is the coil pack if you are standing in front of the truck looking at the engine this is how the cylinder location is on the passanger side back to the back of the engine is one thru four and on driverside is five thru eight so when they tell you which coil pack is bad you will know which one to replace and you can get just the boot and a new spring and replace that for around $6 to $8 then replacing the whole thing for around $65. try to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

88 ranger has no head lights or running lights. or dash lights

Click on the link.
Usually on older vehicles, the headlamps don't use a fuse, but, fusible link, as shown in the diagram. Usually the park lamps and instrument cluster illumination are fuse protected, like the diagram shows, Not only check the fuses, use a test lite to check for voltage at fuse and at fusible link. The wires on top of switch in the diagram are voltage to headlamp switch, the wires on the bottom is voltage from head lamp switch to component.
Usually one of the wires from Battery positive goes to fusible links, at the moment, I don't have location.
Hope this helps, a little. I just want to add voltage and ground both are important.

Yes, seems that you might have a few fuses that are blown out. There are two places for the fuses, one is under the bonnet, and one is inside the car, under the steering wheel. Both have a diagram either close to them, or in the dashboard fuses, usually the cover has the diagram on the back. This way you will know which ones to check. If you can't find the diagram you might need a "test light" to see which ones are not working. If a fuse is blown, you will see that the wire inside the plastic in between the pins is broken. Also, on the back side of the fuse you will see the amperage value. A fuse must be replaced with the exact same amperage value fuse.

Sounds like the same problem I had. It turned out to be a bad "Head light switch" If it turns out that it is a bad fuse, type in the word Ford fuse box, and it will show you all the fuse box diagrams you'll need in order to find the correct fuse.

No parking lights.. Head lights and brake lights work. No power getting to parking light bulbs. All fuses in panel test good. Need good wiring diagram to chase wires. Any suggestions on problem or where...

You can try an internet search for the wiring diagram. No power to all the parking lights? Then probably the light switch. Make sure you have power to both sides of the fuse. If not the either wiring from the switch or the switch itself. Good luck.

Head lights, dome light, power locks don't work

this sounds like a good time to suggest check your fuse panel for blown fuses, there will usually be a detailed diagram showing what fuses do what in your owners manual, and a basic diagram on the fuse panel cover to tell you what fuses to check. I hope this helps.
