Heater problem

Put a meat thermometer taped to the upper radiator hose by engine. Check temp when fully hot should be minimum 180 degrees or higher. Turn on full heat and see what the temp of your heater hoses are going through the fire wall they should be the same temp as the engine was. If one side of the heater is cold take off hoses when cold and hook to garden hose on cold side first and flush out heater core. I don't think thats it. If it is hot everywhere but inside one of your mode motors is not opening the right door under the dash when looked at from drivers side two motors. They are interchangeable but have to be calibrated

1993 grand cherokee how do you fix the overhead console

sometimes because of oxidation or cold solder problems those overhead displays cause troubles. they dont show at all or they show wrong info etc. you need to remove it and you need to resolder every soldering point own by own. this can save your unit. i did mine, it worked.

if it displays nothing there is a chance of being at end or its life cycle( i mean the blue colored display itself not the whole unit), if so try to find a replacement on ebay.

2000 alero will not warm up. Stays cold. Could it

Yes, it could be, if you take it out and hang it on the side of a pan of boiling water, what you need to do is aquire a thermometer to check the temperature, write down the open temp and the close temp of the thermostat and then put it in the pan to see if it opens and at the correct temp

2000 chevy truck only heats up to 150, and its not the thermostat.

how do you know it is not the thermostat? have you pulled the thermostat. are you relying on the gage? does the heater throw out heat, if not then it has to be the thermostat. you can check the heat manually by using a meat thermometer by taking off the radiator cap and run the car for about ten minutes, then stick the thermometer into the radiator and check the temperature. If the temp is less than what the thermostat is rated, the thermostat is bad. If it's the same you could have a bad sending unit, or the gauge is faulty

98 chevy cavalier heat is blowing out cold air and temp stay at cold to .what could be wrong

Very well be the thermstat is froze. If car temp is always cold then it sends cold water to the heater core. You may want to look at the heater core (passenger side against firewall) to see if the heater door is opening. - Good luck

How do i fix the thermometer in my vauxhall corsa

that is not your thermostat, that has to be the temp sensor on your cylinder head, should be next to the intake manifold on the head. it has 1 cable. that sensor´s only job is to show you the temp of the engine on the temp dial in your instrument display
the thermostat is connected to a water hose that goes to your radiator, its also on the cyinder head, but thermostats are only mechanical doors regulated by temperature that allow hot water from the engine go cool down on the radiator.
let me know

Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Radio Buttons, Overhead Console

it sounds like you got 2 problems...the cruise and radio buttons sound like a bad clockspring......the overhead console problem sounds like a bad ambient temp sensor located behind the grill. if it is too cold out the ac will not run
