Firstly , you take it to a kenworth service center as the light can be engine or transmission and it is serious
next we have no idea as to what engine you are running so any answer is pointless
next you have to run the fault codes before a code can be explained as to what to do

I drive a kenworth t600 tractor. Engine shut down while driving no power glided to side of road what would cause the engine to shut down in mid stride

Check coolant level or possibly a bad coolant level sensor. If either of these are at fault, it can cause the engine to shut down or run with reduced power to keep from damaging the engine. Had this problem with a 2005 Freightliner w/ Detroit engine. (bad coolant level sensor)

I have 1997 t600 ac stop working when stop for about five min clutch stop I can raise the hood and it start back cooling No loose wiring

There are several things to look for, the type of fan clutch , the a/c belt and tension. T600- I will go out on as limb and guess this I'd a Kenworth semi. What is the ambient temperature coming out of the center duct with the engine running at 1000 rpm and running for 15 minutes? And the blower on high? Next how is the air flow coming out of the duct. If the temp isn't in the high 30''s , then assuming everything is operating as it should - the system is low on refrigerant. There are other scenarios with different outcomes- more testing would have to be performed to diagnose if the system is only low on ref
