SOURCE: All power windows on 2000

Once you have checked ALL fuses. An inspection of the wires should be done. There is a rubber boot in the drivers door jam between the drivers door and the A-piller. This is a common location for breaks in wires to occur do to frequent movement. If you don't see anything here, proceed to checking for power at the non-functional switches (window, door lock). If power is present, check for continuity through the switch. These checks can be performed with a simple test light.

The instrument panel fuse block is located to the far right side under the instrument panel. Remove the hush panel on the passenger's side to reveal the fuses. To remove the panel, do the following:
1. Remove the two 7 mm screws located along the front edge of the panel.
2. Lower the hush panel. The fuse block is a rectangular covered box located on the far right side under the instrument panel.
3. Remove the cover. Now you can see the fuses and replace them.
4. Place the wide end of the fuse puller over the plastic end of the fuse.
5. Squeeze the ends over the fuse and pull it out.

Spare fuses are located in the empty slots shown on the following chart. Check PDM position for Passenger Door Module...

Additionally, in yhe Power Distribution box (underhood) you have one MaxiFuse of 30AMP for PWR WDO (Circuit Braker). Also check DDM (Driver Door Module) and PDM (Passenger Door Module) fuses.

It is possible that the BCM (Body Control Module) could be faulted, however I would make the other checks I suggested before drawing this conclusion.

How do you change the driver name and memory for seat and mirror adjustment on a 1997 buick park avenue ultra

I am not sure about changing the name as my 2000 park ave. only indicates driver one or driver two. To reset the memory for seat/ mirror position is rather simple: with the ignition on and the car in park, adjust your seat and mirrors to the desired position. Then press and hold the desired button (driver one or two) until you hear a beep, This is the procedure that works on my 2000 park ave. I hope this helps you.

Obviously you have some type of short in the power seat electrical system. Try checking the ground side of each switch with a multimeter. you should not have any current on the ground side of your switch unless the switch is activated. And look for chaffing or short circuits in the wires

2000 buick park avenue ultra sunroof fuse location

The fuse for the sunroof is located under the back seat. The back seat can be removed by pulling up on the front (slide your fingers under the front side of the seat and pull up.) There will be a 3" square black box just about the middle of the seat area. This fuse box should have a 20 amp mini fuse (yellow in color) for the sunroof next to a line of 3 other fuses (15 amps and 10 amp fuses if I remember correctly.) Mine was not burnt out, so it's on to the next step of checking the wiring from switch to motor... :)

Drivers side electric seat will not raise or lower, but will move front to rear. 2000 buick park avenue.

the most common problem is the power seat switch is defective, next is the motor in the seat transmission, there are three motors, u can't buy just the motor, u must replace the whole unit
