2011 GMC Terrain losing oil but not leaking or burning it. Possible solutions?

How much oil is it using ?
Some newer engines go thru a quart pretty quick.
But that said, there are only about 3ways to lose oil - a leak, burning it or someone draining it.

Is it too cold at 0 degrees to figure out the real problem?

There may be water in the gas tank. If there is, then a complete fuel system flush is in order and replace the fuel filter. Make sure the engine is warmed up some before you try to start it. Oil doesn't move well inside the engine at that temperature. A block heater and a battery heater , if you don't already have them , should be used.

Gmc terrain 2.4 engine problem

Check the base of the oil dip stick (ON THE BLOCK SIDE / under the car)

A crack at the base of the dipstick tube will care 2-3 quarts of oil spillage.

The only fix is to replace the oil tube on the bottom end,

I have a GMC Sierra 2008 and the light of the engine come on and The Oil Pressure is to low, can you tell me what is going on Thanks

Sounds like you are triggering the check engine light due to low oil pressure. I would check your oil level and see if you are ok with oil. If you are then go to the nearest parts store and have them run a diagnostics (free) and tell you what the code is reading. That way you know what is going on. I have a feeling though that your oil pump is going bad and you are going to need a new oil pump

Where is the oil filter on the 2010 gmc terrain 2.4

The oil filter on the 2010 GMC Terrain is located in the engine compartment. You'll need a short depth 1-1/4" socket wrench to loosen the cap. The cartridge is in the canister under the cap.
