Im surprised that didn't fix it. On the Quad4 engine its usually a cracked coil housing.
Have you checked:

Well, the code simply means that the engine has... a random misfire. As to why, that's going to take some work. Is it fuel, timing, compression, or electrical? I'd start with a compression test. Then throw a timing light on it, check for play on the valve train, run some fuel cleaner through the tank, and check your electrical connections. Hopefully, something will pop up. Good luck!

Could be coil pack(s), fuel injectors, etc. Rather than retype it, just check out this great article on P0300 random misfire - http://www.obd-codes.com/p0300

SOURCE: 2001 Firebird 3.8 misfires
Check your alternator see if you have a drop in voltage on your tack,then it is the problem.I too was a victim of high price tune up and still had a problem with a misfire.and cover your coil pack with a piece of rubber water run of onto your power pack .Another thing is to use a silicone spray on all wires.

Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1
P0300=Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301=Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0172=System Too Rich Bank 1
P2181=Cooling System Performance
you need to write these down,have someone clear the codes in the car,then go for short ride and recheck which if any code reappears.it's like domino's affect,one sensor can start a chain affect with the others.
