I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C. The turn signal would not work at all or activate incorrect side. The switch is easy to remove as described by dukecityman.

Once the switch is of, it has four screws holding it together.I took this apart to find that there was a circuit-board which was contaminated with dirt. wiped it of, put it back together, working fine.

If you take it apart use caution. there are parts on the "top" which will fall out. ( they go right back in) The circuit-board is on the "bottom" half. You really only need to take this part off. (less moving parts)

Your going to replace it anyway, whats the harm?

I own one of these minivans, as well. I have a service manual for it and it indicates that some of the problems in the turn signal circuitry are monitored by the computer. It may be a good idea to take your van into a place like Auto Zone to see if they can read any trouble codes that would be applicable to that circuit. If the problem is in the switch, go to for suggestions as to how to replace it. It seems to require taking off 3 screws to remove the steering wheel cover and another two screws to remove the swich (no need to remove the steering wheel). And around $50 for a new switch. They do seem to be somewhat problematic. (yes, I do have a small problem with mine, too, and will replace it probably this spring or on a nice sunny day).

I don't know if there's an update button, but this will work. I finally did replace the turn signal stalk. VERY easy. A few screws holding the cowl, two for the actual switch, a quick unplug, reconnected and attached the new one. That was about 4 years ago and it's still working great. The replacement came from Taiwan and was about $30 at the time. The whole R&R took less than 10 minutes and just a phillips screwdriver.

I was having the issue of where my left turn signal was working, then every now and again, then not at all. I replaced the multi function switch, replace the bulbs, and was about to go thru the wires one by one, then I saw a suggestion that maybe the flasher module was faulty. Well, I took it out cleaned off the prongs and put it back in and it worked. A little rust was causing me so much pain and grief. You might wanna check that out.

Blinkers don't work at all. Where can I find the fuse or relay? I'm very frustrated. I need help.

Chris, fuse could be down under the dash to the left kind of near where your left knee would be when you are driving or under hood (engine compartment) in the fuse/relay center.
It could also be faulty flasher, wiring, etc
I will post some trouble shooting links for you.

2005 town & country gauges stopped working. no brake lights, flashers, turn signal,no temp, fuel, speedometer or brake lights.head lights and tail lights come on and and everything else works.

Look for a bad ground...if you have a shop manual or sometimes the dealership will print you off that page, look for the major ground going to those devices.

Where is the turn signal flasher located?

You more likely have a bulb that is no good. The next time your signals aren't working, pull over and check to see which bulb isn't working. Make sure the turn signal is on while checking. It should only be the left or right. Not both. Sometimes you can see the blown bulb with the hazards on depending on your model vehicle. Simply check the bulb thats not blinking for a tight fit. Then replace it if thats not the cure.

No turn signals on 1996 Chrysler town & country but 4 way flashers work?

The turn signal flasher is worn out. The turn signals have their own flasher. It is usually on the drivers side of the vehicle under the dashboard. It is normally a cylinder about 1 inch in diameter and 1inch tall that has two prongs on it. My advice would be to go to the parts store and get a new turn signal flasher for your car. Look for something under the dash that looks like it and exchange them.

2005 Town and country, turn signal either don't work or left signal activates right turn signal. Now front wipers have quit. Rear still works.

Took it to mechanic and he found that it was the control handle on the steering column was bad. He says this is a common problem on these vans.

My service manual states that the '02 T+C has a combination turn signal/hazard flasher/daytime running lights module which is located on the junction block, adjacent to and left of the steering column. To access it, you must remove the steering column lower cover and knee pad panel. There is also a fuse for turn signal/hazard flasher. If none of them work, check the fuse 1st.

Turn signals don't work all the time but they do sometimes.

Try swapping flashers if they're the same & see what it does. Hazard flasher & signal flasher.
