Turn the key off.

Press the "Info" button on the left of the dash cluster until your maintenance miles/months screen is displayed.

Press and hold the "info" button until the maintenance screen begins flashing.

Release the "info" button and then push and hold it it for one second.

Your Maintenance intervals should reset to +6 months and +7500 miles since the last interval amount.

Note that if you have not reset it for more than one interval, you may need to do it more than once. If you have not done it for many intervals, you may need to have it reset with the scantool at a dealer, as I have run into a handful of vehicles that the oil change reminder locked up after 3-4 "intervals" were skipped/not reset.

My 2005 mitsubishi endeavor has a wrench light on the display

I have an '06 endeavor and the wrench indicates it's time for an oil change. The computerized service log(for lack of a better phrase)is set for 3000 miles after each oil change which activates the wrench light. It is reset by myself or the mechanic after each service. I HOPE THAT HELPS!

I just change the oil on my Mitsubishi and now my "Service Engine Soon" light is on.

The computer will turn the light on at periodic frequencies to remind the owner that regular preventative maintenance is required. You can read your manual to determine how to reset the light or take it to the station where you had your oil changed to request the same. The computer was "unaware" of the oil change that you had performed which is why it still came on.

Noise from engine, oil indication on , before one year change balance shaft and bearings on mitsubishi outlander year 2004,4x4,suspect the same problem now?

do not run engine with red oil light on, it can cause severe damage. Check oil level first. If ok, then check oil pressure with a gauge. If oil is not low, you may have a clogged filter or a borlen oil pump inside the engine.

Oil light stays on and oil level is not low

two possible problems

1.) did not reset the oil light after service
2.) short in the oil pressure or temp sensor circuit

either case, seek assistance from your local dealer or service facility
