SOURCE: 1988 suzuki samurai WONT MOVE

First thing just try to push or pull the 4x4 lever if you get it to move and it feels like it went into some gear try to drive the truck. If this works look on the shifter for the 4x4 and put it in 2 wheel drive (H2 is two wheel drive,H4 is 4x4 high, and L4 is 4x4 low range).Make sure you have the clutch depresed when you try to move the 4x4 lever. If you try this stuff with no fix try and look for clutch adjustment on the transmision you may need to adjust it or your clutch is bad.

SOURCE: I have a 1988 suzuki

The transmission doesn't have a dipstick but it does have a fill level plug located at the rear of the extension housing, just to the passengers side. It is a round plug with a 3/8 square hole in it.
Fill trans till oil overflows out of this hole.
Use VMX80 or similar.

I have a 1987 samurai and replacing the head but I'm not sure if they are yield type head bolts! Can anyone help with this answer?

By "yield" type, I guess you are talking about the single purpose bolts. Samurai bolts are not the tapered type. The manual says nothing and I have used them over often with good reults

88 suzuki sammy carb problem secondary dos not open up when it should

At the front of the carb is a big diaphragm connected to the front of the secondary throttle shaft by a link. Is this still connected ? Are the vacuum hoses connected to the diaphragm correctly? Next you will need to apply vacuum to the diaphragm to see if it holds vacuum. They often fail, which hinders the secondaries from opening

When im driving my front end gets to shaking so bad i have to pull off the road, it use to quit when i mash the brake but not any more. Its a suzuki samurai 4-wheel drive

The ball joints need replacing and maybe the tierod ends too. That violent shaking can cause part failure which could cause you wreck the vehicle. Don't drive it usless it is inspected and repaired.
