The crank sensor is located behind the harmonic balancer or also known as the main drive pulley for your belts. You need to remove your belt and then remove this pulley to locate the crankshaft sensor

If you have a 2.4 engine, the sensor is in the engine block near tha starter. if you have the 2.7 engine, it is in the transmission bell housing on the firewall side
