It may be the drive shaft or the rear axle or a wheel bearing

This morning I had a friend of my change the "Brake pads and Rotors" on my 1999 Ford Expedition. Afterward..my brakes still have no pressure and could barely stop. Plus there's this grinding sound when I...

I suggest you take it to someone who knows what they are doing. This is a safety issue and could cause an accident. When the brakes need to be bled, this means there is air trapped in the fluid lines. Usually this will make the pedal feel mushy when it is depressed. It would not make grinding noise because of air in the lines. sometimes the dust shied gets bent and drags on the rotors. Anytime there is grinding noise you need to get it checked out right away.

2005 Ford Explorer is making a grinding noise

I had some issues with my 2005 explorer left rear. It was making a creepy old door sound at low speeds and then a high pitched whisel at high speeds. That turned out to be a broken wheel bearing and had it replaced. Note each wheel has two wheel bearings. After that a new noise developed that sounded like metal scraping/ grinding metal. It end up being the brake dust cover got bent when they replaced the bearing and it was rubbing something, the fix for that was bending it so it didn't rub. I hope this helps.

When i apply my breaks and get down to 15miles per hour, i hear a grinding noise and sometimes, when i hit the gas after that noise, the car does not want to excelerate.

Time for a serious brake job my friend. Your pads/shoes are shot and the grinding noise is the rivets eating your disk or drum. They don't like to let go. Mileage suffers. Stopping distance increases. You must get this repaired as soon as you can. Expect to pay up to $800.00.

Cuts out when excelerating like its not getting fuel? also backfires when excelerating-has newer spark plugs all checked and tune up-still has the same issue

Mine does the same thing(same year) and my best guess is....
It only seems to do it when its really low on gas. On the expedition the pump is located near the back of the gas tank(when backed into a driveway the gas gauge reads significantly less gas than what is really in there) so when accelerating the gas sloshes around and the pump doesnt get enough gas to keep it running. Hope this helps.
