I have a 99 camaro ultra z, and after taking the driver side door panel off [because my window was not rolling up the way it should] i found the window was not on the back window track because the pin pulled out of the bracket. my question is what is the name of the bracket and where can i get one. thank you for your time.

The part that is broken is known as your door sash. A new one is about 50 bucks and i had mine go out on my 98 firebird and it is not easy to replace. You can get a new bracket from a car in the junkyard for 20 bucks like i did. If you did get a new sash i would advise that you take the new sash to get it strengthened. A good welding shop can strengthen the area where the door pin goes into the sash which will keep it from breaking and costing you more money.

You will probably be better off changing the entire window regulator. It's the entire assembly, which bolts into the door, and guides the window up and down. Trying to fix individual parts of this regulator might not work and may end up being costly.

2000 camaro window will not roll up and when I

Its either a shorted power cable to the window motor(less likely) or a jammed/damaged window regulator (more likely). Does it shut off the radio when you try to roll the window down as well? Either way, you'll need to pull the door panel to check the regulator/cabling.

Drivers window and back passengers windows do not roll down purchased used master switch and the problem is still there. I can roll the window up by using a battery and wires. I am stumped can you help?

you need to check the wires that come in from the left drivers side kick panel to the drivers front door......when you open the drivers side front door you will see the harness that comes from inside the car to the door and 99% of the time you will find that there will be broken wires......this is a common problem on these cars.....the best way to check this is to unplug the harness behind the kick panel and take the door panel off and feed the harness back through the door and pull back the black rubber cover that is protecting the wires.......once you have all of the wires exposed start checking for any broken wires and also you might want to take each wire one at a time and pull on them to see if any of the other wires are about to break cause the insulation around the wire could be the only thing holding it together......the wire inside will break over time and the insulation will not....hope that this will help you and if you need more info let me know.....let me and fixya know if i was any help to you and a comment and a thumbs up would let me know how i am doing.....thanks and have a blessed day........good luck and i do believe you will find your problem in the door harness and dont forget to check all of the wires......

Have a 99 grand chrokee 4 door 4.0 engine. Driver's side window will not roll up or down. Got a pig tail from salvage yard and used a 19.2 volt battery from my drill to apply power, it rolled up and...

Sounds like the door witch is playing up. I usually can dismantle and repair them, however if the drivers door control plays up if usually affects the other doors. This may be a silly question but you have not accidentally switched the isolator on that prevents the windows from winding up or down.

1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

I have a 2001 rodeo. the power windows all work from each window if you hit that particular switch at the window, they work. the drivers side window also rolls down. but the 3 other switches at the drivers...

First check your fuse panel. Other than that...Perhaps moisture has gotten in the door panel and messed with the connection. I would take the panel off and investigate..make sure everything is plugged in.

All of a sudden the driver side window will not roll up.

is it electric windows? if it has electric windows does the passenger window roll up using the switch for it on the passenger door panel? if it works on the passenger door panel and not on the driver's door panel , then your switch on the drivers door panel is bad... replace it.
