Any time the internal pressurizable portion of the brake system is breached, i.e. bad seals, broken lines, replacing ABS or master cylindar or blown out cylindars at the wheel you must bleed all the air out of the system. A proper bleed requires 2 people. one person operates the bleed screws while the other holds the pedal down. The screw operator is in charge they tell the pedal operator when to push. the pedal must not be released until the bleed screw is closed again or it will **** air back into the line.

to bleed the system you top it off with fluid then
Open a single bleed screw. tell the person to press the pedal and hold it. the bleed screw will sputter with air and fluid forced out. close the screw and then tell the person in the vehicle to release the pedal. repeat this as many times as necessary to get a steady stream of fluid with no air out. close the screw and that line is done move to the next. The bleed screws are located in slightly different spots on different cars but they should all be somewhere near the caliper or cylinder on the back side of each wheel. Obviously you can trace the brake lines to them.

Did you bleed the master cylinder and the brake system after you replaced the master cylinder? If you did, are you losing brake fluid?

check the clutch brake mastercylinder if low your clutch has air in the hydralic system you have locate leaks at clutch brake mastercylinder brake lines

IT sounds like your brake mastercylinder has went out so what you need to do is get a new mastercylinder and replace that and bleed out the whole brake system after you put on the new mastercylinder.

It sounds like you have a bad mastercylinder cause when you panic brake it doesn't have time to bleed through the valve in the cylinder but under normal braking your foot is on pedal longer in turn giving the fluid time to bypass the valve in the mastercylinder in turn the pedal going to the floor.

New Mastercylinder/brakes still lose pressure


ITS THE MASTER CYLINDER AGAIN.More than likely they are using a re manufactured master cylinders. Get a new one from MOPAR-(CHRYSLER) that will take care of your problem. Trust me I have had the same problem with a similar vehicle in the past in my shop. Good Luck, thank for using FIX YA

Front brakes feel mushy after being replaced


You have air in your break lines. The two ways you can solve this problem is have the breaks blead to get the air out of the lines, or you can take the top of the break reservoir and pump your breaks to the floor. DONOT DO THIS With the car moving. What this will do is force the air to the reservoir.
