Hyundai Tucson '07 a/c started blowing warm air & overheating. Turned the heat on & it went down. Turned the a/c & heat off. Got stuck in traffic overheated again. Is this a water pump or thermostat

While there are a variety of reasons your Hyundai Tucson is overheating, the most common 3 are a coolant leak (water pump, radiator, hose etc.), the radiator fan, or a failed thermostat.

Car radiator overheated car shut down every things OK not car won't turn over

Battery any good? Maybe the engine is frozen due to the overheating.

If so, car is toast due to overheating condition.

My 2005 chevy cobalt overheated and shut off now the starter will not engage

By engage, do you mean it tries but cannot turn the engine over? Or does absolutely nothing happen when you turn the key? No click or anything? If the engine won't turn over, you may have seized the engine when you overheated it......

My truck is showing me a code on the dashboard that says: ENGINE HOT A/C TURNED OFF, air blows but the A/C doesn't. How can I fix this? thank you

A/C turns off when the engine overheats, if it isn`t actually overheating, your coolant temp. sensor could be bad, which would make the computer think that it is too hot.Look for overheating first then check that sensor if not overheating.

sounds like everything is working right but the computer is not turning the fan on. i would say the temp switch for the fan. it sends a signal to the computer to turn it on. it is very cheap and is the most common and likely problem.

good luck and please ask any more question you have

Radiator fan not turning on 02 intrepid

maybe the sensor that turns on the fans might of gone bad . . and turning on the ac when engine is gettin hot is not going to help instead turn on the heater to reduce the heat , also overheating causes hoses and gaskets to get soft and get destroyed
