I'm having a problem with my finish line flg 3.. I'm getting air bubbles blowing back up into the cup of my gun causing the paint to spit out when I try to spray.. Is there any reason this would be...

Make sure that the vents on the gun are clean and if the problem is still present then you have a problem with wear on the bushing or the needles. Air is blowing back into the cup before the needle is opening enough. So this could be a pressure, timing or wear issue.

Which setting do I use for the needle in my carb?

How many miles?? The needle jet/jet needle (brass kit) may need replacing ...they wear out due to vibration and cause the spark plugs to turn black, get poor milage, and then "carbon foul".
Try running it without the air filter for a few miles.. see if that makes it run better. If so, I would replace the air filter and put a new brass kit in the carburetor.
You can try moving the CLIP on the needle UP to the second to the top position, OR the top position..that will lean out the mixture/carburetor.

Hi Robmil07, and the usual suspects are:
1. Excessive enrichner use.
2. High speed riding style.
3. Idle speed improperly adjusted.
4. Dirty air cleaner element.
5. Vacuum piston assembly malfunction.
6. Excessive accelerator pump output.
7. Plugged or restricted bowl vent.
8. Fuel level too high.
9. Loose jets.
10. Worn or damaged needle or needle jet.
11. Enrichner valve not seated or leaking.
12. Plugged air jets or passages.
Good luck and have nice day.

I have a 1986 700 fazer on a buggy it has a dynajet stage one kit in it K&N air filter pipes are not stock it runs good at high RPM when at low RPM it runs like its getting to much fuel it has...

If the engine is too rich at low rpm then yes it will help if you drop the needles and consider maybe turning the air correction screws out a fraction to increase the air to the pilot jets or using smaller pilot jets altogether. Hope that helps you.

We are having trouble getting the spray gun to pull the paint through. It will spray air but does not spray paint.

when you pull the trigger can u see the needle moving backward? if so, then it's either the paint is too thick compare to the nozzle size or the passage for paint is blocked. try to take the nozzle, needle and the cup off and give it a good clean!

Engine not getting gas.

If the fuel is getting past the fuel filter the issue could be a stuck needle valve in the carburetor. If the carburetor has a drain button on the bottom of the float bowl push it to ensure fuel flows freely for several seconds, if there is no drain plug or button pinch shut and disconnect the fuel line from the inlet to the carburetor, direct the line into a clean container and remove the pinch clamp, if fuel flows freely the filter is not clogged, if the fuel does not flow well replace the fuel filter.
To unstick a needle valve use a short blast of low pressure air (5-7 psi) into the carburetor fuel inlet, if the needle valve is stuck the air will tend to all blow back, once the valve opens you will here a change in tone. If you do not have access to adjustable compressed air try tapping the side of the carburetor gently, if it remains stuck you will have to remove the float bowl to gain access to the float and needle valve.
